South East European Film Festival Returns This Month

The popular South East European Film Festival (SEEfest) will return for audiences this month.

One of the few festivals dedicated to celebrating cinema in South East Europe and Eurasia, SEEfest is usually held in Los Angeles but will be held virtually this year due to Covid restrictions.

A packed screen programme includes everything from heartfelt documentaries such as Faith and Branko to award-winning feature films like Est.

Movie fans will also get the chance to attend exclusive panels and aspiring filmmakers can join industry meetings and workshops to network and pitch ideas.

The virtual festival kicks off on Wednesday, April 28 and will run until Wednesday, May 5.

Tickets for individual showings are available on eventive, with audiences getting the chance to either join a livestream of each film or view titles on demand.

There is also the option of purchasing an eight-day pass for access to every movie and panel at the festival, which SEEfest says is "the best way" to enjoy the event.

You can find out more information about SEEfest on its website.
