National Lottery Players to Get Free Cinema Tickets in June
Players of the National Lottery will get the chance to take a trip to their local movie theatre for free in June.
As part of Camelot's National Lottery Cinema Weekend, film fans can get two free cinema tickets for June 19 or 20.
The move comes after a challenging year for the UK's big screen industry, with cinemas across the country forced to close for months at a time due to Coronavirus.
Camelot, who are working alongside the British Film Institute and the Independent Cinema Office, has said the event is a way of "welcoming back" movie lovers as lockdown restrictions ease.
Anyone who has purchased a National Lottery product since January 1, 2019 will qualify for free entry for two adults to any film of their choosing.
NLCW will run on the basis that Covid restrictions allow the majority of cinemas to be open.
Regular reviews will take place to determine the feasibility of the event and taking into consideration government guidelines.
