IndieVisible Magazine Issue Three - FREE
The third edition of IndieVisible magazine is now available free of charge. Check it out!
Cinemas are open, movies are playing for actual, real life audiences, and there’s an incredible slate of releases planned for the rest of the year - it’s safe to say it’s a great time to be a film fan. And the indie scene continues to be at the forefront of these positive times. Who’s surprised?
Here at IndieVisible, we’ve been working hard to keep these good vibes going, and we have a ton of exciting projects to highlight throughout our third issue. Inside, we talk to Aubrey Smyth, director of unique comedy Liza Anonymous. We also hear from Luca Caserta, the Italian playwright-turned-filmmaker picking up awards for his impactful drama Tell Me Who I Am. And screenplay reader and founder of Script Eater, Joslyn Jensen, tells me what exactly makes a great story.
We also have a deep dive into the notorious Carnal Knowledge, with Natasha Alvar discussing the poignant points made by director Mike Nichols five decades ago. Charlie Vogelsang takes a look at five of the best films by Edgar Wright ahead of Last Night in Soho’s release this autumn. And our designer, the delightful Chris King, raves about the cinematic masterpiece that is, um, Cuban Fury... Look, it’s a quality film, okay?
We hope you enjoy this magazine, and continue to support the phenomenal creative minds that provide such exciting independent projects for us to absorb and debate. We all know they deserve the love!
