Hong Kong, Reimagined Is Now Live

Hong Kong, Reimagined - a special cinematic event which aims to spark important conversations about the region - is now live until May 12.
The festival is running as part of Chinese Cinema Season, the largest online showcase of Chinese-language cinema, and will feature everything from old-school classics to brand new hidden gems.
A packed schedule will take audiences on a tour of Hong Kong throughout time, with films covering everything from the pre-war era to the modern day.
Highlights include the UK and Ireland premiere of heartfelt biopic Keep Rolling - which stars one of Hong Kong's most influential filmmakers, Ann Hui - and a showing of the powerful documentary Golden Gate Girls - which tells the incredible story of Esther Eng, the first woman to direct a Chinese-language film in the US, and the first Chinese LGBTQ+ icon in the film industry.
This impressive programme has been curated by UK-China Film Collab, co-organiser of the festival, with support from Academy of Film, Hong Kong Baptist University.
